We are pleased to announce the successful presentation event of the new Bucharest – Lamezia Terme air route, promoted and organized thanks to the close collaboration between the Tourism and Marketing Department of the Calabria Region, Calabria Airports, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIPR).
This strategic initiative confirms the central role of CCIPR in fostering connections between regions, institutions, and economic operators, while promoting Calabria as one of the most authentic and captivating tourist destinations in Southern Italy.
Representing the Calabria Region, Luca Fregola highlighted the region's tourism potential, including its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and rich food and wine traditions.
Following this, Dr. Mauro Bolla, Commercial Director of Calabria Airports, presented the growth prospects tied to the new route, emphasizing the importance of an international network of connections to support the region’s economic and tourism revival.
