Today, at the Italian Military Cemetery in Bucharest, we commemorated National Unity and Armed Forces Day, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for their country, freedom, and justice. The ceremony was organized by the Italian Embassy in Bucharest.
It was a solemn and respectful moment, where we gathered to remember the bravery of our soldiers and reflect on the importance of peace and solidarity among nations. The ceremony included an official speech by H.E. Alfredo Durante Mangoni, the Italian Ambassador to Bucharest, and the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Eduard Bachide. Floral wreaths were laid as a gesture of gratitude and remembrance for our fallen.
The President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Romania (CCIPR), Roberto Musneci, stated: "Honoring today the sacrifice of our soldiers is a moral duty towards those who came before us and believed in the values of freedom and national unity. It is a call to keep this memory alive, so it may inspire future generations to build a Europe of peace and solidarity."
