The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIPR) participated in a Sistema Italia mission in the cities of Tulcea and Braila, coordinated by the Italian Ambassador to Bucharest, H.E. Alfredo Durante Mangoni.
Representing CCIPR was Board Member Dragos Bostan.
During the mission, in addition to institutional meetings, we visited the shipyard of our member VARD, one of the most important and strategic production sites in Romania.
The delegation was welcomed by VARD's SVP of HR & Organization and CCIPR Board Member, Salvatore Savinelli, together with the shipyard management and representatives from FINCANTIERI, who showcased the site’s extraordinary technological and industrial capabilities.
The CCIPR would like to express its appreciation and recognition to VARD for its exemplary contribution to the development of the maritime sector and its ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. This site represents an industrial excellence of great value, capable of strengthening the local economy and creating new opportunities for future generations.
